I'm at the cost cutting stage of a JAP system design. If I eliminate a couple receivers I can use a smaller switch. I have a zone with 3 displays that can all play the same source and I'd be able to eliminate the receivers that push me into the larger switch. So, I need to distribute the HDMI output of a single 3G receiver to 2 projectors and a TV. I want to keep the receiver at the rack - about 70' run to each display.
I'm looking for an HDBaseT splitter/receiver setup like these:
[Link: bhphotovideo.com]I found a few others but none from the usual manufacturers. Any other ideas? Anyone have any experience with a splitter like this? Am I setting myself up for an EDID nightmare?
