I have a note 4 and love it. Work gave me a 6 and I hate that damn small screen, hate that phone.
You know phone screens got bigger once they figured out you can watch porn on them.
For a phone, I like the smaller size. But, I don't use my phone for just a phone. I use it to pull up tech documents and other information and to answer emails, and all the other things I used to have to pull out the computer and go searching to find a wifi signal to do. For me the 6 is the right size. It's small enough to still carry but just big enough to read a pdf on.
