There's no built in cable management. You have to sort out the cable management yourself. For my install the wires were all run through a piece of TechFlex and positioned and secured after some trial and error so the didn't bind up or get caught under the lift.

There's also a cable that moves with the lift and powers the motor. You can specify this as a coiled or straight cable.
