Most lifts I checked are 6-7" deep without the TV; is there anything less deep for use behind a decorative electric fireplace?

Inca Makes a rack & pinion lift that can be as narrow as 3.75" but I think gets deeper for larger TV.  Their website isn't very good so you'll have to look around for it (photo below).

I think they also have a more traditional pedestal lift that's around 4.5" deep, but for that you also have to add the thickness of the TV hanging on the front.

I used the one shown above to build into a custom bed footboard last year and it worked out really well.

Here's a photo and phone video:

Lutron drapery tracks with drapery panels fabricated by a local workroom using customer selected fabric.  There's also a single Roman shade in the room covering a smaller window made out of the same fabric.

Thanks for the info; how is the cable management on the lift? I can't find any info on their web site.

There's no built in cable management. You have to sort out the cable management yourself. For my install the wires were all run through a piece of TechFlex and positioned and secured after some trial and error so the didn't bind up or get caught under the lift.

There's also a cable that moves with the lift and powers the motor. You can specify this as a coiled or straight cable.
