Unfortunately, it is a gold TV stand... and gold TV... and gold speakers.  It's the Bang & Olufsen 90 year anniversary collection and I agree that it doesn't work in the house with all the neutral colored marble, terrazzo and chrome.

I brought it up with the designer and mentioned I could bring someone in to cover the gold with either black or silver vinyl but it seemed to get dropped and was never discussed again.  

The TV stand is integral with the B&O Avant TV and rotates into preset positions when the television is turned on.  Here's what it looks like in action.  If you watch closely you can also see the speaker bar drop from the bottom and extend:
