One big upside to going back to cable internet is that you can provide a Surfboard modem and any router that you want. It may not save you money, but you can be assured that it will work. That is worth something in my book.

+1

We left Uverse (while it was still AT&T here in CT. It was bought by Frontier and sh1t REALLY went south). The reason I left Uverse was because of internet. We went with a combo of Charter for internet and Dish for TV. We are paying more, but I no longer have all the hoops to jump through that AT&T had me doing to simply try and port forward for viewing cams offsite. I had issues with other systems as well, all with offsite viewing and services. While I pay a little more per month, ALL of that aggravation went out the window the day we switched. It's been smooth sailing since.
