Most of my clients for the last few years just want camera access from mobile devices and usually have several iPads wall mounted around the house.
If the job has an HDMI matrix, I'll add the DVR/NVR to an input on the matrix.
Just finished a job where client wanted to view cameras on two TVs (no matrix) so used HDMI splitter out of the NVR and extended to the two TVs using HDBT over CAT6.
