Way back when houses with Cameras that modulated over coax to a certain channel so you could view your cameras. Does such a system like this exist for newer HD cameras or are you better off going to a HD base t system?

Most of my clients for the last few years just want camera access from mobile devices and usually have several iPads wall mounted around the house.
If the job has an HDMI matrix, I'll add the DVR/NVR to an input on the matrix.
Just finished a job where client wanted to view cameras on two TVs (no matrix) so used HDMI splitter out of the NVR and extended to the two TVs using HDBT over CAT6.

Lmao you know some times when you get asked a question when you're pre wiring Sunday morning because they're spray foaming on Monday you forget about things like googlecast and mobile devices. Thanks for the reply.

If you still need to modulate the signal you could check out Zeevee. I have used their product before.

ZeeVee is about a grand. Before ZeeVee I told customers I was waiting for this kind of modulator to be less than five figures. Aren't ZeeVees all QAM? Does that still play nice with TVs that have, or are set up for, ATSC?

It blows my minds that HIK Vision, IC Realtime, Honeywell, Arecont, Dahua/G4, etc don't have apps for Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and AppleTV. I have been waiting years for this.....
