Keep in mind that those mud rings want to attach to the box. You will most likely need to chop drywall to get the old one out and the new one in. Then you have to worry about the cover plate covering the new larger hole.
Those particular FLAT mud rings can attach to the existing double gang box and the new Decora switch plate attaches to the mud ring.
No need to remove the existing double gang box, cut drywall, etc, etc.
Been there, done that. The only thing I had to do was drill holes in the mud ring to match the pattern of the existing box.
Worked like a charm.
