TS these can be used just like a modulator back in the old day...open network...you can even use the same cable to put a send and receive on it if you want...use decent standard coax splitters ....I see it perfect for homes with coax runs you cannot retrofit or bars/resturants/commercial rip and replace of zvee systems...no hands on on the gear, so can't speak of the latency issues...but I harassed Brent plenty at CEDIA and I thought the Kool-Aid tasted good :) ....YMMMV
