That's already been done, see the previous responses.

In discussing the very same issue with user PHSJason he found that when he connected the TVs to the local network, internet present or not, they would NOT go to sleep and they would turn on every single time which is why I asked the OP if he could connect it to the network to keep it awake in the background.

He found that the TVs not connected to a network would send an acknowledgement packet and then a parsing error if they sat overnight.
