Goodbye Speakerlab. It was fun while it lasted. End of a Seattle Icon. If I had some $$$$ I would have bought the business... It still has a strong name here in town. Speakerlab was established in 1972... I started there in about 74, and managed a couple of stores, then went out and did a few other things, and just returned 2 years ago almost to the day...
I think it's time for a beer or two!

Sorry to see this- any chance that you can buy the name, cheap? If she's not going to use the name or re-open, why not let you use it, with the proper change of ownership, etc?
Is she planning to have a liquidation sale? Maybe she'll let you buy it over time, assuming there's already some business in the pipeline.
