The 2nd amenment was written when we had f-ing muzzle loading guns, not automatic weapons. Times have changed.
Nowhere in the 2nd Amendment does it specify which "arms" were to be beared. This was on purpose. To fight a force of power you need equal power. Our forefathers were wise and understood about possible advancements. Hence, "Shall not be infringed".
Same goes for the 1st Amendment. They had no idea about television or the internet as mediums. When our forefathers said "The right to free speech" it wasn't meant for pen and paper solely.
