This was one of our main issue w/Sonos. Sonos tech support didn't quite know a lot of stuff, or they claimed to know and just wasted our time.

Actually had a Sonos tech support rep tell me(on speakerphone and in front of client) that Sonos wasn't really meant to be used in a commercial setting... and it were a simple setup - Connect -> 2ch amp -> 2 pair speakers in a pilates/spin studio.

Now my impression is that Sonos is just another glitchy, overpriced, Chinese streaming device.
