Expect a zillion copycat capers.

Hopefully, after only a few hundred more hacker events of this scale, people will get serious about security. At this point the bean counters are crying "too expensive" and users are crying "too hard" to do what needs to be done. At a few hundred million dollars (or more) per "event", the bean counters will eventually get an idea that they could save some money (and probably get a bonus) for authorizing spend for security.

Fundamentally, we need a new platform. Currently, we are trying to make a sieve watertight.
