I bought a cheap pair of rock speakers at Lowe's in 1999. They get used a lot in our back yard. I live in central Illinois. We get all weather extremes. The speakers still work just fine. Have installed Niles rock speakers in customer's back yards. Only one pair has failed. Niles replaced them under the lifetime warranty. Customer had to pay to ship the defectives back. I still got to charge labor to do the exchange.
