I stick with maglites for two reasons.
1. I can narrow the beam to a point which makes it easier to peer into narrow holes or corners of attics.
2. I can still get them with regular bulbs -not LED. Ive found that with LED's, I cant shine my light through the front of a piece of equipment to find the IR target, which a annoys the crap out of me
