I have a system that has Abus indoors and an old niles audio system for outdoor zones. I have just finished all of the video zones and lighting. Now on to audio.
We have run wire and will be adding speakers around the pool area. The Abus zones only have Cat5 in and 16/2 to the speakers. The Niles zones only have 16/4 in and 16/2 to the speakers.
Control system is C4
Here's what I'm thinking. We have touch screens and remotes in every prudent location. We only need a second zone so I'm thinking we use zone two line level outs on the denon and split that to the Abus and a 70V amp. (transformers not a problem) We would then replace the 3 niles keypads with VCs and leave the 10 Russound ABUS keypads in place. At the pool we will add 8 70v landscape speakers and a VC. I would like volume control for the 70V available on the touchscreens and Ipads but I'm not finding a solution for this. Maybe a 70V amp (prefer Crown) with IR controllable volume I can write a driver for? Any Ideas on an amp or another work around?
