I have a client that has retro rings for the sn*pav 500 series 6.5 inch thin speakers. I want to install a different brand of speaker that has a cutout dimension of 7 5/8. On the site it looks like the retro ring is 7.625 which makes no sense, because the sn*p speaker requires a 7.7 opening. For those of you that install the sn*p stuff, can anyone tell me the exact dimensions of the retro ring, and if you think a speaker with a cutout dimension of 7 5/8 will fit? Thanks a lot. I'm going crazy trying to find out.
