to convert the front preout left/right connections of an AV receiver from analog to digital coax, then from digital coax back to analog at the TV

-use a 2 channel amplifier at the TV.  such as:

use an IR over HDMI adapter to get IR to the TV and 2 channel amp, or use the MRX4IR adapter if using Total Control.

edit:  forgot about the 16/2.  you could use that for IR.
