Hi

I am just confirming what I understand from this thread: One CAN simply connect a cable from the IR mini blaster output from the Hub into the IR receiver port or punch-down on a Speaker Craft/Xantach IR block. Is that correct?

If going from the HUB IR output plug into a speaker craft or Xantach IR block, how should the wires be punched down? i.e. there are two wires on the Harmony cable (I will cut the blaster off the cable or use a generic mono cable from the HUB, leaving two bare wires to connect to the IR block), whereas the Speakercraft IR receiver block punch-down has 4 terminations and the Xantach (I believe) has 3. My guess would be to connect the 2 wired from the HUB to the IR and GND punch-downs on the block. Is that correct? If so, how do I determine which wire is which coming from the HUB, e.g. would "tip" be IR out or GND?

Thanks!!
