That's my point. The minimum wage currently is ridiculously low and has been for decades.
What is minimum wage in your neck of the woods?
If lets say it's around 7.50 an hour / $1200. a month and after taxes and crap, you are looking at $960 take-home then you are basically screwed.
If it were lets say $15 hr = $2400 gross with approx take home of $1900 after taxes etc. do you think that might be of help?
What is your reasoning against increasing the minimum wage?
