I am thinking that someone should be able to write an IP control driver/module for this thing if they had the gumption. :)

I am not holding my breath. Our Roku 2 XS is on its way to the grave. I am eyeing Apple TV so I can use it to extend the Mac Mini display. But I am thinking its replacement is coming soon too. So I will wait. Or I may buy this Fire box in the meantime. My 2 year old can operate the Roku remote just fine. This one looks similar.

I have an MX900 and a Pro Control Pro 24.r but neither are programmed. If I cannot find the remotes, and I am feeling lazy, I use my phone (it has an IR emitter for the TV). I normally walk over to the TV and manually turn it on/off though. :P
