Thanks for your input. So I'll sum this up:
URC total control. =
+ No more screen size problems.
+ faster programming

- very dependent on reliable network $$$
- not a customizable as Rti (make my own buttons,TV network logos etc)
- I must relearn a new system

Rti
+ I do what I want, very customizable

- endless hours of programming when new screen size appears
I'm I missing anything?

RTI has been geared to be more like crestron in the custom realm as far as GUI design goes. Design whatever the hell you want. Savant, control4, urc are more what you see is what you get. They are specifically designed to have premade layouts. Adding a music server....drag and drop the premade interface in. Wanna change it too bad. So sure it's faster. But not as customizable. So you realize this walking in. RTI realizes people want both. So with apex they are going to offer this. Best of both worlds. Personally I like rti stuff over urc not even considering the programming aspect. Just the actual hardware options. Then add apex which will come by the end of the year and to me it's a pretty cut and dry choice. RTI over urc. There is always those quick jobs where you wanna get in and out and don't need a crazy custom interface. But having the option to have it when you do need it is awesome.
