We've installed over 100 systems so far. Most are using DMPS processors with 1,2 or sometimes 3 RMC100 endpoints which are using a direct Cat6a shielded cable for connection to DMPS. Processor is in private network mode.
We have our own AV Vlan which spans several subnets.
All units are on latest firmware although with the quantity of units we have, there's probably a few that need updating.
Once every 3 maybe 4 months I get a call to say a display won't turn on in one of the rooms. Everything works fine but no control to display. Rmc shows as offline but I can connect to it fine in console. Reboot. Fixed.
Its a rare issue. The only reason I asked was because the head of IT services has asked if he can remotely reboot systems if need be and given that I'm implementing fusion at the moment, I was hoping it was possible. 2 birds one stone.
It's electronics guys. Sometimes funny things happen with electronics. It's really not worth pullling multi million dollar network apart for a random glitch in an RMC.
