Yes, many universal remotes will work at least partially.  This CD uses the RC5 IR protocol, device 20.  It's easier to find older remotes that will shoot the correct signals, but there are plenty of new ones that will work.  I recommend remotes made by UEI-- for example OneForAll, because even if a code (e.g. Eject) isn't built into the remote, you can manually add it by entering 5 digit EFCs

Since you appear to be in the UK, get for example the URC 7140. You're looking for a setup code like Audio 1189, which will probably do everything you want without customization.  If you get instead a URC-7130 (which doesn't have Audio setup codes), it will probably be necessary to use  Video 1367 and customize every button with the 5 digit EFCs listed below. Even a URC-7120 will work using TV 1506. Lots of other OneForAlls may work, so ask  if you see one you like.  Use the 994 Command Instructions to assign EFCs to buttons.  In the table below, ignore the OBC numbers.
