Hello guys,

I have a Musical Fidelity a5 CD player, and the remote was broken and has been thrown away. A replacement costs £130, which is $200... for a basic remote! So I would like to avoid that, all I need is basic Play, Stop, Pause, Next, Previous, and maybe eject.

Musical Fidelity is a bit of an esoteric brand and I very much doubt there are any remotes out there who would have codes programmed for the A5 which is about 12 years old now, and was rare even then...

Is there a way to program a CD player like this with a generic universal remote?

I would very much appreciate your advice.
