I found a used PTX3 on ebay and when it arrived I charged it up.

Now with a full battery if I connect the battery it shows me the "Prodigy" Screen for several seconds, then it'll flip to another blank screen for a few seconds then back to the screen which just says "Prodigy". Holding the power button until a reset will repeat the sequence.

Connecting the remote to the computer with a USB cable and running the Device Discovery tool in the toolbox the remote doesn't show connected. And doing the 1-2-3-4 1-2-3-4 sequence does nothing either.

Is there anything you can do to completely reset a ptx3 without connecting it to a computer? Since they're apparently no longer available I'm interested in keeping my rather expensive investment going for as long as possible.
