Unfortunately, neither worked. Empty file didn't not make any difference. Tried to calibrate and cannot get the screen to respond. I think the sign is that the screen is always on. I almost feel like some liquid got between capacitive layers and the screen acts as if someone is constantly pressing on it. Don't know if it's possible. I'm hoping it might dry up and start working.
Actually, while I was on the phone with my dealer, the screen responded to the touch ONCE but not again. We'll see what happens tomorrow.
