Love these posts.... I was exactly the same. When I worked in car audio, my system was always half assed. That is why I figured if I tore it all apart, I would have no choice but to put it back together properly before I could watch anything.

The funny part was a graphics guy using a four year old UI with graphics that didn't quite match and a vertically letterboxed iPhone 4 interface on an iPhone 5.

I bet a few of you out there have emitters with electrical tape over them... I know I did.
