I don't have another 3000 to try, but like you, I suspect one or more blasters have failed. Didn't think about adding another RF unit at the projector. It might be a crap shoot about investing in the MRF if the rest of the remote will die soon. I probably have an RF unit on a shelf somewhere that I could try out.
