Windows 8.1 will work fine with the MX-980 - the dealer site provides instructions on fixing this issue which is a driver assignment issue (and you need to install some Microsoft Software which they require for you to communicate with devices via USB)
8.1 does not currently work with NETWORK PRODUCTS that download/upload over the network - this is due to Microsoft changing certain network protocols and the resolution should come very shortly.
Is there any way to get info on what that needs done to make it work? The dealer I bought mine from is no longer in business. I did find another local company that sells these, but they won't give me any info since I didn't buy from them, so I'm sort of stuck here.
