Even better if using two way. Many people think that the only advantage of two way control is getting feedback on screen, but the real advantage is checking the status of certain functions (like input, power, volume, etc.)

Use the system variable test and drag in the appropriate arguments from the driver. For example "if receiver power is true (no delay) else 4 sec. delay" etc.

They go over this in detail in any dealer training.
