The lower paying jobs have always gone to the newest immigrants, story old as time.
The Irish worked harder and over time became a more populous and affluent citizenship.
I'm sure the Hispanic population is well on it's way in a similar path.
My point was that until they achieve a social status where they are contributing on a similar level of other established ethnic groups, they are the largest growing segment of the population, but the one contributing the least to the "social welfare program".
The mexicans huh? :)
