I am working on a project that has a residential condo on the upper floors of a mixed use building. Everything in condo has to meet residential code, but floor penetrations to the lower levels need to have a 1 hour fire rating.
The IT room will be located on the floor below the condo, so the route the wires take through the floor will need to have a 1 hour fire rating.
I have looked a few products like these

Are you running the cabling through conduit? If not, wouldn't that be a fairly easy way to achieve this?
