I am working on a project that has a residential condo on the upper floors of a mixed use building. Everything in condo has to meet residential code, but floor penetrations to the lower levels need to have a 1 hour fire rating.

The IT room will be located on the floor below the condo, so the route the wires take through the floor will need to have a 1 hour fire rating. 

I have looked a few products like these

Does anyone know if I use one of these products, does the wire need any fire rating, or does the cable chase alone meet the code?
