I've got an Onkyo TX-NR1009 that's giving me fits.

Background: Programming and operation has been flawless until about a month ago.

The remote control is a URC MX-5000. RF base station is an MRF-350.

The issue: The receiver won't respond to power on or volume commands through the MX-5000, however, the IR Emitter blinks just fine. That said, the receiver will respond to the analogous commands sent from the standard Onkyo remote.

I've tried swapping out the IR Emitter as well as adjusting the IR sensitivity...no dice. Same goes for moving the MRF-350's antenna around.

What's odd is that it worked just fine and then suddenly stopped working correctly for what appears to be no reason.

All other peripherals with the system work just fine...control of the receiver previously worked flawlessly then suddenly stopped.
