Well the posters were right. My MRF-250 does not work with my Integra AVR and I read that is because the IR signals are not buffered. I switched it to a MRF-350 per everyone's advice.
I have one more MRF-250 I need to replace in the garage. It only control 1 thing. Another Integra stereo out there.
Is the MRF-260 buffered so that it works with the Integra? Is there an even cheaper base unit that will work?
Weird thing about my MRF-250 and the Integra. When I use an IR emmiter, it does not work on any port, when I wire it to the IR input, it does not work, when I select "all" (blaster and all ports) it does not work. It only works in "blaster" mode
It's probably more of a compatibility issue with your remote. What's the serial #/date of production inside the battery compartment?
