SONOS spells SONOS both ways. I mounted it that way too. If you mount it the other way the wires plug in from the top and can be visible if there is a gap between the TV and the Soundbar. With my case the Samsung logo didn't allow me to have directly under the TV. There is an appx. .5" gap.
