If you want to change the factory revert to file (done by setting Developer=1 in pronto.ini and downloading the ccf to the remote with the checkbox checked for "configuration is factory default") the ccf file you use must be smaller than 184kb. If it is it will become the revert to ccf. If it is larger, the original factory default file will remain the revert to file.

Regardless of the file size you use, you will not affect the free memory of the remote (380kb for RC5000, 1404kb for the RC5000i).

The revert to ccf is compressed and loaded into a small buffer memory within the firmware allocation of the remote's ram. NOT THE FREE MEMORY SECTION!

Nothing can be done to increase or decrease free memory other than changing the contents of the active ccf.
