We had a string of these lock up, all did it after a firmware update. All the them were new so all of them went back to dusty or retailer for replacement.... If memory serves, it was back in July/August.
No issues once then.
So, you had problems AFTER doing the update. That's interesting, others recommend they NEED updating. At this point trying an update will be the firest thing to do. If it doesn't work, time to replace and see if my disty is doing anything about them?
I bought mine in August, right around the same time!!
