I think most people are relying on cargo pants and sweatshirt pockets, but a well-designed belt would save time. You don't typically slog the bag all over the house. Bag enters the house, opened, and select tools are removed. Sure, you keep it close, if other trades are around, but it usually stays put and you move around a lot.
