Have your lawyer write a Cease and Desist order on his letter head threatening him with legal action for blackmail and Defamation of Character. Then send him a bill for your lawyer's time. I'd also report him to the police and Better Business Bureau just for good measure. The BBB report is to help others that might get the same sh!t from this turd.
I hate to have to use attorneys, but I use the best firm in town as my corporate guys. If you don’t pay (steal from me), threaten one of us or slander my business, I will fight like you were attacking my family. And I have done exactly what was suggested above. I suggest you do the same.
That being said, we are overly accommodating with our customers and go the extra mile all the time. However, you have to draw a line somewhere. Do not put up with threats or defamatory reviews. You actually have the law on your side. Spend the money on an attorney and send letters to both clients.
