If you have a working JP1 cable, the RC5x codes could be uploaded into the 8810. However, a fairly cheap solution for this particular issue would be to buy a RCA RCRP05B (Best Buy, Walgreen, Online <$20) and use setup code Audio 1289. (The 8810 doesn't have Audio 1289-- it's too old)
Then manually program the fiollowing EFCs:
HDMI Out toggle 62006
HDMI Out 1 61990
HDMI Out 1 61974.
Use the
994 command to program the EFCs.
This thread says that the earliest SR8001s needed a firmware update to respond to these signals.
