Bill, I had a theory until I re-read and saw that you had video.
For as I once stated before, long ago, my MDP-130s only record one stream at a time. A show I had recorded on Friday was rock steady upon playback. Yet 'live' viewing of CBLT is still riddled with problems.
Daniel said that they upped the power at transition last August, yet at its' previous power level CBLT was about the best of any Canadian station there was for Niagara residents.
Now I wonder two things.
1. Are they still using repeater stations/towers?
2. Are Niagara, aka Welland to Grand Island residents getting reflections/bounced signals or a conflict/overlap from two sources?
Perhaps an attenuator for UHF 20 in our main lines might be the answer? I gotta work weird times this week so i won't be getting to
Radio Shack/The Source for a while, maybe someone else could give this a try?
BTW, the show was Friday's ep of "Coronation Street".
EDIT: Well, at this end its' that old bugaboo multipath, for when I throw it into the 'on the fly' timeshift mode, either 'live' or one second delay, barring signal dropouts, the picture is steady.
