In the first house, we installed Stealth 2 ways (FX8?) with backboxes. Like I said, sound is only OK. If I had to do over, I would have forced the issue of bookshelf speakers hidden in the bookshelves.
I just installed Stealth into a room yesterday (4xFX8 and 2xB30 subs). It's new construction (noisy jobsite) so going back today with amplification to test them while all the other trades are gone.
I haven't done any Stealth for a few years now so haven't put any of the new models in yet. My impression before is similar to yours, but I was hoping the new models might be a bit better.
