Did this job at the end of the week. It was a lot of fun. We installed two music/PA systems for a local Little League team.

The primary field has a Crown mixer (inputs: wired mic in pressbox, wireless mic, iDevice plug in, AirPort plug in), Crown amp and JBL Control 30 speakers. The secondary field is a Crown mixer and a smaller pair of speakers.

I showed one of the involved fathers how to use Garage Band to edit songs to short clips (5-10 seconds) and how to mix a voice over and then save as an iTunes "song" to provide an intro with a walk up song for the kids at bat.

After he figured out Garage Band, he imported movie quotes, Homer Simpson "doh" noises, etc. to play throughout the game.

We installed an Airport Express to allow him to leave the pressbox and go down to the stands with a wireless mic and his iPad. This allows him to play sound effects through the system via AirPlay, while calling the game and providing color commentary from the stands on the wireless mic.

All in all, this was really cool for us to do. Little League can be boring at times, but imagine how much better it is with music, sound effects, etc.
