I'm trying to write the discrete power on and off commands for an Optoma HD8300 projector in RTI but I'm having difficulty getting it to work. Here is the Optoma spec sheet

Im using 9600, none, 8, 1 for the protocol.
Anyone have any suggestions or the codes already built?

How far is the run from the processor to the projector? Have you tried a null modem cable? Have you tried using a terminal emulator to enter the commands directly instead? From looking at the projector documentation, you need a null-modem adapter or cable.
