The rights that a person has with regard to "discrimination or segregation on the ground of race, color, religion, or national origin" has to be applied both ways or it becomes discriminatory. I do not have the right to force anyone to believe or feel any other way than the way they want.
Being truly free does not exist, just as there's no such thing as being safe. We are all restricted by our society, our morals, and our environment. Everyone can feel/believe anything they want, but any action on those impulses is subject to the rules of our society.
