easiest thing is to change the macro sequencing so that the remote functions as follows...and teach wife to operate in this fashion.
To turn the system on -
Press "main" then "on" - and have macro set the system up for the most common usage source ie cable/sat
To change inputs once on -
Press "main" then pick your source "dvd/roku/etc."
To turn the system off -
Press "main" then "off"
